I think casinos would still make a profit without mobile, it's just a matter of taking advantage of this "new" emerging market and getting more clients. Those who don't adapt to the new technologies will not last long I believe.

i´ve been looking at dozens of online casinos over the past few months :) and it is probably way less than 10% that do not have a mobile app. I am almost shocked when I see one that doesn´t have it.

So that just means it well worth the investment. Do you have an idea of the percentage of their income in what concerns mobile gambling?

I actually just wrote an article for mobile gambling in 2016.. I won't quote it yet because its for another site and I haven't posted it yet. But it did say that mobile online gambling just pasted PC gambling in 2016 for the first time.. Meaning there where slightly more mobile gamblers this year then playing from a PC... Pretty interesting stuff, but not really to surprising.. I see people driving down the street, riding bikes and walking around the grocery stores all on their phones..

Wow, so that is surprising... I knew it was big, but I had no idea it was that big! Yeah, a lot of people on the phones, but riding the bike and gambling seems somewhat more risky than doing it on the computer no? :)

Mobile technology as certainly increased rapidly, maybe more than anyone thought it would, so it's no surprise to see more and more casinos jumping on the bandwagon. The trend is only going to continue as well, and like you're all saying, there aren't many casinos that don't have a mobile app these days and those that don't still have one in the process of being made.

No doubt we will get people complaining that the mobile gaming apps are enticing people to gamble more than ever, just like with more casinos being opened up in cities and the rise of online gambling as led to millions of people going bankrupt and...oh no wait, that hasn't happened either as it!

I don't know if you read Ryan's post above, but the simple fact that mobile has surpassed pc gambling in revenues says a lot of how things have changed.

What is that you are saying about bankrupt? :D

I certainly did, and it comes as no great surprise I don't think. Not just the casino sites but nearly every site these days will offer a mobile platform for people to view on and there aren't many people these days that don't have a smartphone so you can certainly see why.

Casinos and every site wants to make itself more accessible, and seeing as more and more people are browsing on their mobiles, it stands to reason that they are going to be going down that route when it comes to developing their software and apps.

Yeah, they have a great eye for business and for entertainment, and that's certainly their area of activity. We pay for the opportunity of doing what we love and we still have the chance of winning a prize that can change our life.

Most casinos these days offer those possibilities, so we end up being able to play online on the computer, downloading or mobile, what's most convenient to us. Casinos have it all covered. :)
